About
Torsten Derr became Chairman of the Board in January 2025. His responsibilities include the Tubing business unit, as well as corporate functions including Research & Development, Compliance & Legal, Human Resources, Marketing & Communication, and Strategic Development. He also serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board for SCHOTT’s subsidiary SCHOTT Pharma.
Born in 1970 in Bremen, Germany, Derr holds a master’s degree and PhD in chemistry from the University of Bremen. He began his professional career working for Bayer AG in 1997.
