High Power Laser
SCHOTT offers coatings that are suitable for high power lasers and can be used for a variety of applications in laser processing, medicine and research. Modern coating technologies such as E-Beam, IAD and IBS are applied to a wide range of optical components such as aspheres, windows and prisms, with the resulting laser coatings offering the lowest losses and highest laser-induced damage thresholds (LIDT).

Anti-Scratch Hard AR
Providing unparalleled scratch resistance and a surface hardness comparable with sapphire, our range of hard anti-reflective coatings ensure the performance of your optical system even in the harshest conditions.
CHARACTERISTICS
Our patented scratch-resistant hard AR coating can be applied to SCHOTT Sapphire glass to improve light transmission without sacrificing the robustness of the material, as well as optical and technical glasses such as BOROFOLOAT 33® & Xensation® in order to greatly enhance the robustness of these materials.

CHARACTERISTICS

UV Bandpass Filters
Our UV bandpass filters for the analysis of fluids and gases deliver long-term reliable performance for a broad range of spectroscopic applications. These rugged assembled filters provide high blocking outside the narrow bandpass to ensure a high signal-to-noise ratio.

Low defect
Combining our experience and expertise in filter glass with our extensive coating range allows us to provide low-defect AR and UV-cut solutions for cover glasses in CCD and CMOS sensors. Our low-defect coatings are optimized to significantly enhance the environmental durability of SCHOTT BG Filter glasses.

Laser Blocking Filters
These blocking filters provide the necessary protection for sensitive sensor arrangements or guard the human eye from harmful laser radiation. These filters are used in optronic sensor systems and periscopes for surveillance, detection and target acquisition, providing high blocking of laser wavelengths without sacrificing transmission and color accuracy.

HMD / HUD Combiner
In head-mounted or head-up displays, SCHOTT coatings enable flat and curved combiner optics to directly project crucial information into the field of view without blocking outside visibility. Notch filters can also be applied on glass and plastic substrates, with very high uniformity to ensure perfect contrast and brightness over the whole display area.
