Lithium Ion Battery Protectors

SCHOTT SEFUSE® D6S battery fuses and SEREB® thermal battery protection switches are used for the protection of li-ion battery packs. SEFUSE® D6S battery fuses protect li-ion batteries from overcurrent and overcharging. SEREB® thermal battery protection switches prevent potentially dangerous instances of overheating.

Compact, space-saving designs

SCHOTT battery protectors have thin designs that are well-suited for limited-space applications. SEFUSE® D6S battery fuses are surface mount devices and available in thicknesses as small as 0.85 mm. SEREB® thermal battery protection switches are specially designed with compact and light materials to enable a small footprint.

Product variants

SCHOTT offers two types of protection devices for rechargeable li-ion batteries. SEFUSE® D6S battery fuses are surface mount fuses that protect against overcurrent and overcharging. SEREB® thermal battery protection switches are resettable mini-breakers that detect abnormal temperature rises of battery cells to prevent dangerous overheating.

Extensive lineup of protectors for rechargeable batteries

SEFUSE® D6S battery fuses are applied as integrated circuit (IC) secondary protection and guard li-ion batteries from overcurrent and overcharging. The SEFUSE® D6S battery fuse line supports rated current from 12-60A and is suitable for high-current applications, including rechargeable batteries for power tools. SCHOTT also offers resettable mini-breaker SEREB® that detects abnormal temperature rises of battery cells.
