Cartridge unique device identification (UDI) & Branding

Streamline identification and tracking. Select from a range of solutions: QR-code, RFID, printed label, on-cartridge laser marking, and more.

Cartridge shell

Using injection molding, this protective, custom casing protects sensitive cartridge components and can be customized for functional design and company branding including textures, colors and logos.

Reagent blisters

SCHOTT Reagent Blisters store a variety of reagents based on application need. Select from multiple blister size options for volumes ranging from 72µl To 2040µl (reagent dependent) from small to extra-large.

Elastomer valve membranes

Pneumatically or mechanically actuated active valves, allowing more complex fluidic workflows to be run on the cartridge. Explore several elastomeric materials available with options to integrate via solvent bonding, laser welding, PSA bonding, and more.

Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA)

Laminate and seal components to the cartridge to hold blisters and other components in place.

Reagent spotting film

Alternative or complementary to a blister, reagent spotting film holds dried reagents in place on the cartridge until use.

Optical imaging plates

Ideal for optical detection applications. These optically clear materials such as glass or clear polymer create this microfeature component stack, used to capture microfluidics and present visual results in diagnostic testing.

Main microfluidic cartridge

The injection-molded polymer cartridge is the foundation of the total cartridge where all the components and fluidic features are placed, including channels, sample input areas, and blister rupture structures.

Vent membrane

This pneumatic interface enables fluidic and air control.

Choose from a range of materials to match the cartridge functions for your application.

Integrated syringe (option)

A fluidic control option for fluidic interface.

Fluidic capping

Select from a range of polymer films, PSA films or foils to cover and secure all the fluidic channels with an optically clear seal to prevent leaks and cross/chemical contamination.

We are certified

Our quality management systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.
