Applications of ViewPort® and ViewCell™
The ViewPort® and ViewCell™ sterile optical interfaces allow safe, efficient use of advanced analytical techniques. While well-suited for the biotech and pharma industries, they can also benefit process monitoring in food and beverage production, chemical manufacturing, and other applications.
Bioprocessing
By enabling continuous monitoring through optical windows, SCHOTT’s interfaces help optimize biologics production along the biopharma process chain. ViewPort® single- and multi-use bioreactor ports enable upstream monitoring at scales from process development to production. ViewCell™ flow cells are used for downstream in-situ measurements. Both interface types offer long-term reliability and enhanced flexibility while reducing risk of contamination.
Food & beverage production
In the food and beverage industry, ViewPort® and ViewCell™ optical sensor interfaces can be used to enable advanced process control, which is especially important for developing stable processes in the novel food industry and cellular agriculture.
